Here in the US it is rare to find a fuse in the plug or line cord.  For the 
CoCo there is a fuse inside, but I do not remember just where.  Since it 
does not work, there is little to be lost in a look-see.  Just be gentle 
putting those 7 screws back in, they cross thread easily.
