It looked like you were using an Ubuntu installation -- I'll have to
defer to someone who uses that distribution to advise you on how to
start stuff automatically.

FWIW, I'm not sure you actually want an ncurses-based application to
start as a daemon.  On its face it would require human interaction
to be useful.
