Well, it is pretty weird!  I can't blame you for being suspicious,
especially with our one-pass linker.  I can easily see having to merge
multiple copies of a ROF into a library, with the right (wrong?) set
of mutual dependancies.

Immediate familiarity counts for something, too. :-)
