Finally someone has reported what I did when I got my 3.5" drive for my
CoCo.

With two identical copies of the same boot disk, one 5.25" and one 3.5",  I
was able to flip the switch whenever OS-9 was not writing to a disk.

I ended up with many disk sets, one 5.25" and one 3.5".
