Roger is not the one writing the code that checks these reads. He is
(ab)using BASIC's LOADM it turn it into a MMU multisegement loader.

It's a cool trick but I would really suggest he avoids it for anything
he distributes.

(oh and just to totally fill the snarkeyness of this post to 100%... the
word is moot, not mute.)
