Actually, I believe somebody was working on hooking up one of the little
microcontroller ethernet modules, but it looked like progress was slow,
and last I saw his web site hadn't been updated in a few years. [...1

this web page: http://hat3.net/ It looks like he switched his plan to
using an ISA 3Com card.
I've got a small supply of 8-bit NE-1000 (NE-2000 compatible) cards that
I have always thought shouldn't be too difficult (hardware-wise) to
interface to a CoCo.
An easier, though more expensive, option would be to use something like
the SitePlayer Telnet. Just hook that up to a serial port, and it acts
like a modem.
Also, doesn't the Cloud-9 Superboard have a planned ethernet adapter?
