I thought about that, but that shouldn't be necessary - I don't have any problems with the FedEx, USPS, or DHL
folks.
That's just here though - I lived in an apartment building in Miami, from 1990-1998, and I had the SAME UPS guy
the whole time. Nice chap named Carlos. I bought and sold so much stuff, he was on my Christmas list every year.
Never, ever had a single problem with him at all.
Here - on this route we've had at least 5-6 different UPS drivers since I bought this house in 1999.
I dunno - just like if you ask different folks the same questions, you'll get different answers, I have 2 different
opinions on UPS service in the last 2 residences I've had.
Just Friday, the UPS guy left a package for an address on 12 Street, at my house, which is 10 Court.
Not even close - I dunno.
I ended up driving it over to the proper address myself.

That's the reason I have a post office box (not a huge expense at ~AU$60 per
year). The post office is just 2 kilometers down the road, so it's no
imposition to go there for my mail, and a whole lot more secure.

You're dealing with some of the smartest people that
have been trapped by the company into not being able to escape :)
Oh, I don't know about all THAT! Your boys, in my neighborhood, still have
not learned that there is a difference
between COURT and STREET.
Also, when was Wilma, 3 years ago?
Apparently, just a few hours before Wilma landed here in Miami, the UPS
driver found the infinite
wisdom to leave a package at my door.
Outside.
Wilma bearing down.
Package on doorstep.
Just so happened, that it was my Apple iPod.
In the end, I had to call UPS, and had them remove the ability to leave
packages at the front door.
Once in a while, even with that block in place, they STILL leave packages at
my front door.
