I use uemacs for small stuff. It's big flaw (assuming you like EMACS)
is that it seems to be a level 1 program and won't use additional
memory, even if allocated with uemacs #56k....
stevie's a reasonably good VI clone, with one exception -- If you give
it the wrong escape key combo, it will immediately exit. (Microware's
choice of escape as EOF means VI clones have to be written very
carefully, and the stevie port wasn't careful enough.)
The other three editors I use, dynastar, tsedit, and scred, are all
commercial. Dynastar's a wordstar clone and the other two are
vi-like.
