Thanks.  Anyone have a definitive word on Vox Chess?  Curtis Boyle has
it as a "no", and even has a screenshot of a voice synthesizer selection
screen showing the following choices:

A) REAL TALKER VOICE SYNTHESIZER
B) NEW SPECTRUM VOICE PAK
C) NO VOICE SYNTHESIZER
D) OLD SPECTRUM VOICE PAK OR COMPATIBLE HOME-MADE PAK
E) THE VOICE BY SPEECH SYSTEMS

He also notes:  "Oddly, the one speech board that VoxChess does NOT
support is Tandy's own Sound/Speech pack, which was probably the most
common."

But Briza has it as a "yes".  So were there different versions of the
program?  Do you have a similar speech synth selection screen on your
copy, Briza?

The S/SC Wiki page is really getting filled out now.  (

makes me want to find an S/SC!
