Naaahhhh.... try a Tandy 1000 EX or 1000 HX.  I picked up one of each
on ebay for $15 each + shipping.  Both were in great shape and even
worked!  I had intended to make both into CoCo repacks but I liked the
HX so much I thought I'd keep it intact... at least for now.
Just remember... Tandy killed the CoCo in favor of these machines!

Ripping the guts out of the EX was tougher than Amiga would be but the
thing has an internal power supply/fan where the A500 doesn't.  It
also has more room for boards.

Anyone need a working 1000 EX motherboard?
