I'll cherish this response for the rest of my life.
I feel proud to have given something to the communiy that may be news.
As a "WhipperSnapper" of only 57 years of age and
with only fifteen years using B09, I am flattered. Tongue in cheek.
--------------
In my readings over the years, it was said that OS9/B09 had a superior
math. However, in the example given in an earlier thread, it seems Color
Basic went farther..
Color Basic = 8,099,999,999,999,997,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
OS9/B09 = 127,127,881,999,999,920,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
It seems that B09 isn't up to the task ?????
Like I really need this sort of precision! If I can keep it within .001
inch, I'm okay with it.
