[Coco] More colors on CoCo 1?

I once patched the Dragonfire ROM Pak to work with 50Hz PAL CoCo1/2.
This program displayed 8 colors (both PMODE3 palettes) at once. I have
then written an "intro" mixing more graphic modes to get more colors and
even smooth "on border animation". However, this worked only on the
"real" thing, my 50Hz PAL 64KB CoCo 2B (with T1 lowercase VDG). A nice
file for emulator flaccidity proving... ;-). For those PAL guys who want
