[Coco] Using a Coco without a floppy drive - what are the options ?

With all the talk about flash memory devices, I'm wondering if anyone has  
tried
to use IBM microdrives on the coco?  Seems they could easily be  connected the
way a CF drive is, but maybe not so easily functional....?   Of  course they 
still
could be pricey and are they still available, for that matter?
