[Coco] NitrOS9 Level 2 Question - Follow Up

Ed,
I have come up against this problem a lot.
My *real* coco has 80 5.25" track drives, and the original settings ( as
designed by Microware & Tandy) for the 80 track drive was density = 3, Type
$20 Cylinders $0050, and 40 track drives changed the density to 1 and the
Cyls to $0028.
However, the later versions of NitrOS9, the 80 track drives now have a
density of 1 and a Type of $21. IMHO, these settings *should* apply to 3.5"
drives, *not* 5.25", but it seems that the NitrOS9 team don't agree. This
has caused many compatibility headaches for me when making DSK files from my
*real* disks.
So, the settings as per DMODE for an 80 track drive (D0) are:
nam=D0 mgr=RBF ddr=rb1773
hpn=07 hpa=FF40 drv=00 stp=03 typ=21 dns=01 cyl=0050 sid=02
vfy=01 sct=0012 t0s=0012 ilv=03 sas=08 wpc= ofs= rwc=
Hope that helps.
