I would have to assume it's not that far off of CDs, in that you have to
get the right kind of DVD (what the 1's and 0's are burned in to. Was it
called ink? I'll call it that. ;) ) ink for it to last longer than 6
months, too. I remember when it was brought out that the difference in
ink on CD made the real difference between it lasting > 6 months. Some
didn't even last that, even if they were 'name brand'.
If this doesn't make sense, wait until I wake up, even if it is 5pm
here... :)
