Is this what your looking for?
$ ./messg4 -listdevices coco3
SYSTEM DEVICE NAME (brief) IMAGE FILE EXTENSIONS SUPPORTED

coco3 printer (prin) .prn
cassette (cass) .wav .cas
floppydisk0 (flop0) .dsk .os9 .vdk .dmk
floppydisk1 (flop1)
floppydisk2 (flop2)
floppydisk3 (flop3)
cartridge (cart) .ccc .rom
snapshot (dump) .pak
harddisk (hard) .vhd
Add a hyphen to the brief device name to specify it on the command line.
Like this:
$./messg4 coco3 -flop0 disk.dsk
--
