Kind of Yes and Kind of no. The MC6805 and MC146805 may have somewhat based on the 
MC6800 core. In some aspects it would be a progression off the MC6801/3 rather than apart 
of the the linage of the MC6809. From the MC6805 Motoroal progressed to the MC68HC08.
