Yes, there were several, from both Teac, Pamnasonic and Mitsumi, and I've 
owned a dozen or so including half a dozen of Tandon 100-4's, a full height 
version.  MOST 1.2's can be slowed from 360 to 300 rpm by a jumper, at which 
point they are identical to a 720k at the coco controllers clock rate.  I 
presently am using such a drive.
