What's curious is that the date t and montype r both DO run correctly,
and they're after the setime.

Sorry about that last comment on Setime. I was thinking of Tmode.

The syntax for Setime in a script should be

setime </1


With that correction of C.A.Patterson's startup file, my Coco3 boots
with 4 windows.
