While I can type characters and have them show up on either side (which
indicates that I have communications) - I'm not sure what kind of file
transfer protocol the RS-232 ROM PAK has. Looks like Hyperterminal has
XModem, YModem, ZModem, and Kermit protocols. I may have to get some
more sophisticated terminal software for the CocO - but I need it on
native CoCo RSDOS formatted CoCo disk, since for some reason, I'm not
able to get OmniFlop to work (and yes, I do have a desktop computer with
a built-in floppy drive).
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
Bert

Bert, did you mean to ask for good software for the Coco? You already
said Hyperterminal (PC software) works well. In either case, if you have
tested Hyperterminal transmission to a Coco, then you must have working
software at both ends. What else do you really want?
On the Coco side Ultimaterm (Basic) and any of the OS-9 terminal
programs will work for for moving any type of file between the PC and
Coco. There is one problem with Ultimaterm when receiving xmodem as it
seems to be limited to small incoming files.
