Hello gang,

The Rainbow IDE is coming along well now and I'm getting ready to start
adding compilers and linkers! Yes, finally. This is only the start of
even better things to come.

Version 1.4 adds the OmniFlop program to the Tools menu so you can have
access to that program (included) for reading/writing/formatting CoCo disks
from Windows (even XP). I'm doing it and it works great, especially using
3.5" disks which many CoCo users have started using now.

CoCo and vintage developers... I need your feedback and suggestions, and if
you buy the IDE you can request features to be added.

I also put a note on the Rainbow IDE site (www.rainbowide.com) about a
drawing I'm having Saturday night for a free CoCo 2 and PC Link cable (CoCo
to PC serial cable) for one customer this week up until the drawing time,
probably 9pm Central. The price was dropped and I'm shipping a CD, no
shipping charge added, with all of the CoCo Collection CD files, the latest
copy of Rainbow, Portal-9, a SLEW of BIOS ROMs, and lots more vintage files.

And, in case you missed the notice a few weeks back, all Portal-9 users can
get Rainbow for 1/2 the price of the price that's on the front page of
www.rainbowide.com. Right now, that would be $24.50 and you'll still be
entered in the drawing for the CoCo 2 and PC Link cable, and receive the
CoCo Collection CD.

Why should you buy in now? Because Rainbow is going to grow and gain
features that every developer will need, and some of these features will
require registration. Naturally, the more complex and powerful the IDE
gets, the value will go up, but you'll be covered with free upgrades
because you showed your support and interest early.

Thanks
