[Coco] OT -- PC needs TWO Shut Downs

Say guys, is it a sign of anything special when a Windoze 98 SE PC needs a  
second go-round of the Start->ShutDown menu sequence before it shuts  down?  
After the first one, mine momentarily fuzzes the screen, then comes  right back, 
and is fully functional.  A second shutdown sequence gets a  good normal 
shutdown.  
 
You can open a folder and maybe a few other little things without "breaking  
the spell" of the 1st shutdown, so the 2nd one still works.  Any  ideas?
