Thanks for the tip - I did everything as your article suggested - and
created a Windows 98 boot disk from a floppy with a RAMDISK. I tried
using PORT.EXE and DSKINI.EXE - and I ended up with the same result - a
write error on the floppy. This is after I formatted the floppy (3.5")
on the CoCo 3.
Any other ideas?

One of the greatest problems with Windows 2K / XP is the way it handles
floppy I/O, and it seems to have very big problems with our direct write
methods of writing CoCo Disks. There is an article in the Vol 2, Issue
one
of the CoCoNutz news letter on http://www.coco3.com/ on how to create a
DOS
boot floppy to make your life much easier =) check it out!
