Without even a close observation of the pictures that he supplied you made a bold 
assesment of what he was using. All I have done is suggested that he may not be using 
the IC you think he is. 

Sorry to burst your bubble. Yes there are other chips out there. The AD72x is in fact one 
of the more simpler chips now currently available. There are at least four other Chip 
makers that make chips that do more. 

It really does not matter as to what chip he uses. 

I still hold some concerns that the AD725 and few resistors and a cap or two is all that is 
necessary.  The main issue I see is interlace vs non interlace. Maybe it is not an issue. 
TVs are interlace and the Coco 3 is noninterlace. Since the Coco 3 does not use more 
than 225 lines imaybe a benefit.
