You could run a 6309 in the expansion interface and leave the 6809 on the 
keyboard unit. The 6309 could have 1 (or 4) meg of RAM and run at high 
speed.

Does this mean that dual processors (6809/6309) would be a possibility?  I'm
sure this has been considered before?  Can os9 be modified to handle dual
