Ok, this is new to me... you mean M.E.S.S. can mount an S-Record file
(ASCII) and run it as a ROM?

Portal-9 can easily save the S-Record file as "program.rom" since it tells
CCASM to do a "-o=program.rom" if you like.

I can't seem to find all these tricks in M.E.S.S. that people speak of,
like how to do printing to a PC text file from the emulated CoCo, etc.

Anyway, thanks for the checksum heads up. I'll get with you if I have any
questions when I try to fix it this weekend.
