I NEVER click on a link sent by "e-bay". If you get a legitimate mail from them, they will usually request that you log onto e-bay -- but won't provide a link. At least not any more. 

If you're in doubt about a mail from e-bay, log on and got to "My Ebay". If they have something for you it will be in your message box. If nothing is there, you can be assured the e-mail is phony.
