Mike,
Yes, there are jumpers soldered on BOTH ds0 and ds1 on the same drive. Didn't make sense to me either.

Do you mean that you have one drive that has DS0 and DS1 jumpers, or
that you have two drives and one has DS0 and the other has DS1?
It sounds like you've got one drive with both jumpers installed, which
doesn't make sense to me.
