Hey roger How about a nice flowery wallpaper :) or some decorations. Maybee  
even something like some kinda ability to choose icons next to your name in  
chat, or even able to change font of your typing so we can distinguish each  
other apart?
 
Just some ideas.
 
by the way i like the alert idea cause sometimes others are waiting in chat  
and browsing in other areas.........and miss it when someone comes in.
