The true successor to the CoCo II wasn't the CoCo III, it was the
Amiga 1000. Funny, huh (what, you didn't wonder why the default
Amiga desktop screen was blue, orange, black, and white)? The Amiga
1000 was also the true successor to the Atari 800 line. ...and, it
was manufactured by Commodore.
But the catch phrase above is "PC Users." Your PC, through
emulation, can be a superior CoCo. You could even write your own
CoCo emulator with extended capabilities -- new graphics modes,
better sound, increased bank-switched memory, faster CPU through
emulation, blitter, sprites, interrupts based on video line... but
then, why? *shrug*
