GCC is off. I imagine you could compile an older version using 2.95 
gcc, but there's still no PIC support, and writing it would be more 
work than doing sdcc. I think sdcc is a better place to put the effort 
right now.

As for Contiki, I need a decent C compiler to work on that. :) Let's 
just say it's on the back burner.
