Actually, the program to expand memory in the coco-1 & 2 is called  Banker, 
by J&R
Electronics, of Columbia, MD.
 
Banker 1 offers up to 256kb while Banker II supports 512kb.
 
Said to work with CB ,DCB, DECB, JDOS, ADOS, and WordPak.
 
I have never seen any programs to make use of the additional  capability.  
Perhaps the
memory chips were still too expensive at the time, and the situation became  
moot when
rumors of the coco-3 circulated, with its base 128kb ram.
 
Banker Power Basic was provided with the kit.  Apparently some bugs in  the 
software 
never got ironed out.  What may have helped to promote such upgrades  would 
have been
to include some demo programs to illustrate the value of the new  capability.
