[Coco] Expert C programmer wanted

Well, that's been done for gcc 
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/gcc-coco), but I don't think gcc is 
the best candidate at the moment.

It should be fairly straightforward to start a branch of sdcc, probably 
within the sdcc project, or like 
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sdcc-m08/ for the 6808 series. Then 
people make donations to the project, but there's no way to specify a 
contract of any sort, or to have assurances that the work will be done.

Is there source for any of the CoCo-native C compilers? Because there's 
only one 6809 compiler for modern machines that's free and open source, 
and that's gcc.
