This is more than just a problem with mfree. It looks like the kernel
would need an overhaul because if you look at part of the source code:
* [D] at this point will contain 1 of the following:
* $0210 - 128k
* $0220 - 256k
* $0240 - 512k
* $0280 - 1024k
* $0300 - 2048k
This is regards the block map which seems to have been stretched as far
as possible without a major overhaul.

You should still be able to access the additional memory but not via the
OS-9 system. It would need to be entirely program controlled which would
be "illegal" to the spirit of OS-9.
