[Coco] Computer Shopper CoCo Column

Years back ('85-'87) there was a regular monthly column in Computer 
Shopper (back when it was as thick as the NYC phone book).  Does anyone 
remember reading that column?  I am trying to think of the author's 
name.  I believe his first name was "Dan" but I am not totally sure.  
Can anyone confirm his name?
