That is something that you need to do.  The instructions for doing so 
were sent to you when you subscribed, and as I understand it are also 
sent with the monthly reminders.

Otherwise it is hit or miss if the mailing list operator happens to see 
your post.  The rest of us can do nothing.

You can set your preferences to nomail using the instructions referenced 
previously, and then access this forum using a news reader from the 
news.gmane.org news server.  The newsgroup name is 
gmane.comp.hardware.tandy.coco .
