New Zealand. You needed a license to touch anything at all that
connected to 240 Volts. You couldn't even wire a plug on a flex cord,
or rewire a fuse (ceramic fuses with copper wire inside back then).

Now you can wire your own home a la the USA there. But Australia
still has the same regulations.
