Hi,

	Thanks for the reply.

	The eliminator was a cartridge that included:

		hardware clock
		2? serial ports
		1 parallel port
		an interface to some kind of st506 & floppy controller
			board

	This "board" is in the case that houses the hard drive. I don't
think it was a PC interface but some kind of "standard" mini-computer
(or other) board (i.e. not custom for the tre). You could hook 4 hard
drives and 3 floppies (or was it 3 hard drives and 4 floppies?) to this
thing.

	Unlike the sardis people (made that dual mode floppy thing), I
?think? Frank Hogg included the source for their driver.

	As an interesting side note:  the 40 Meg 5.25" hard drive I got
with this thing is a MiniScribe. Probably aren't to many of them
floating
around. I powered up the disk enclosure. It seems to be ok (the disk
anyway, no idea about the "board" in the back).

	Can you develop a NitrOS-9 driver using OS9 LII?
