It sounds like you are putting in a lot of hard work, but for
what? The Yahoo! CoCo Group has a chat room:

Is there something wrong with that one? You have to register with
Yahoo! for "free" (if you don't mind a little extra spam.) You
need a Java plugin for your browser, but those are also free.

Is everyone else getting online **with their CoCos?** At 9600
baud or less? Now, that would be true dedication.

Is this a text-only chat room?
