[Coco] Floppy disk problems with Nitros9

When I use Nitros9 3.02.01 I can not seem to reliably format or backup
floppy disks.
My disk controller is a Disto SCII with a PC360K floppy (/d0) and the fd-502
floppy (/d1).

Many disks will show errors while formatting. Some format fine, then backup
fine but start spitting out errors during Verify.
As a comparison I booted up my own "customized" OS-9 and had no troubles.

I get many more problems trying to use HD disks than regualr 360K disks. I
have used HD disks since the 90s with never any trouble on my system.

My os-9 has commands in the startup that say dmode /d0=3 or something
similar.

Is there some way to fix this problem in 3.02.01, a work around?
