Supporting fragmented bootfiles, like non-6809 OS-9 does, would be WELL 
worth it (though, it should be a moot point with all the utils that 
exist to prevent it from being an issue).  BUT, it sure would be neat 
to be able to:

merge files files files files >bootfile
klink bootfile

...and be done.  Did 68K OS-9 start out with the fragmented file 
support in 1983, do you know?
