Hehe - I'm a member of one such BBS!  I telnet to 209.151.141.59.

We actually have a few BBS's still running here in Knoxville, although
they are rather unpredictable in regards to availability...

Could something like this be done for the CoCo?  How about 
an emulator running a CoCo BBS?  Just a thought.
