Arthur suggests an additional hill to look in, there are many more.
Prospectors could look at Goggle for those who only posted on UseNet and
other
lists. Delphi, compuserv, ...

I was found by a Goggle search using "Magellan".

That's why I implied that more than one prospector would require a
coordination to not flood people with spam.

Too much work for just one person, judgment needed to decide where to look
and how far back and so on.

The last message posted would give a clue, say if someone sold all their
CoCo stuff, then a message would not be welcome.

But I am not going to get involved unless I see two or more large piles of
dirt and some quartz.
