I am afraid that I am not familiar with that program.

Since you are on a fixed I.P. range, can you get them to set an access 
control to allow your I.P. address to access with out password?

That is what the one that the Encompasserve.org system uses.  They are 
using news.binc.net.  I can only access it from the Encompasserve 
system, but I do not need a username/password.

Well, I did not find that, but I did find this:

It does not give access to bit.listserv.coco, but people who prefer to 
use newsreaders can move over to to a mirror of your mailing list.

It looks like everything that you need in a can.

The SAMBA organization is using this service.

It will not allow postings from unconfirmed or munged e-mail addresses.


The alternative is to contact newsguy and see if you can convince them 
to shut off the princeton feed, and take it from your list instead. 
They are the ones that are running the gateway, not princeton, and they 
can probably tell you who the "owner" of the connection is to get approval.

Of course the bit.listserv.coco allows trolls to anonymously post.  With 
the gmane newsgroups, this is harder.
