On my MM/1, my startup file starts up 5 or 6 windows, each with a shell
running in it. All but one are the standard Microware shell (pretty primitive),
but the last window is a darned good copy of a real UNIX shell (probably cshell,
not the kshell I used at work). But it lets you write iterative loops, and
yes it has the EMACS-like command memory for ^P and ^N (up and down).

I keep wondering why I didn't start that shell up in ALL the windows. Maybe
because my scripts were written for the brain-dead MW shell? Well, at least
the MW shell has wild cards.

Anyway, I can check my Startup file for the name of this shell, then copy it
off of CMDS and send it to whoever wants it. Along whit the latest UME.

BTW, I don't know where that UNIX shell came from -- it was on my first MM/1
prototype as received from Kevin Pease, who used OS/K at work and had access
to lots of goodies, including the MW C debugger (which I never learned to use).

Though I've never, ever, seen OddJob. Heard that I didn't miss much :-)
