Thanks everyone for the replies! I have now been using an older 
version of DSKINI/RETRIEVE, tried some other things and haven't 
encountered problems anymore yet. 

I don't have OS-9 so I unfortunately cannot use the Basic09 utility, 
but thanks anyway. It seems I will have to settle with what I have... 

BTW: Dskini.exe also supports 40 and 80 track disks, so that should 
not be a problem. However, at the moment I am backing up 35 track 
floppies to DD diskettes and then converting these to virtual disks. 
Could that cause any problems?
