6809L2.  I'm having this problem with the distribution boot disk (disk
1), so /term is VDG.  Robert Gault says that's the problem and is
trying to track it down.  

I'd say he's right, because when I built a new windint-only boot disk
that found /h0 and used the startup file there, (which inizs w1 and
w2) it worked fine.
