Munging your e-mail address in the body does not do any good since it is 
appearing in the From: field unmunged, and you are quoting it unmunged.

The gmane newsgroups totally mung what ever e-mail address they find to 
a very temporary one that apparently either apparently expires before 
the spambots can find it, and/or they have a strong spam block on the 
input for their mail server that keeps the spam out.

If you want your e-mail address to be easily read in the gmane 
newsgroups, you need to write it as mannequin at example.com, otherwise 
in the newsgroup it will show up as a encoded temporary gmane.com e-mail 
address.
