6309 Micro Processor Project:
Hello,
If your running Windows XP or just like to have a easy
way to boot into the coco3x emulator inside of an
MS-DOS 6.2 system. To run the coco3x tools virtual
system package. You'll be able to run dskini and
retrieve or the coco3x emulator in a virtual ram disk.
If you get my makeboot.exe 1.27 MB make boot disk all
you need to do is run it and you'll be prompted for a
disk in the floppy disk drive.
Insert a formatted 1.44 MB disk in the disk drive and
press Enter. Then, when you need a coco tools system
for copying disks to and from your real Color Computer.
Just insert the boot disk and reset the computer and
you'll have a real MS-DOS 6.2 environment to run the
tools from. While your using the tools, go ahead and
give the emulator a run.
Try it in the Sync Lock Mode, nice huh?
This is a virtual system and it boots up with the
same set of files every time. Anything you changed
will be discarded when you restart your computer.
Note:
In this version only you have a little work to do,
if you want to get it working on your system. Run
the (MS-DOS 6.2 Help Menu Option) to get and read
all the details you'll need. In the next version
everything will be automatic.
