Teaching a master class on "The Box Technique" Sunday Morning

Hey y'all:

November is shaping up to be the busiest month for me yet, so I thought I'd
post the upcoming dates a little ahead of time (they're listed at the
bottom). Steph Hayes and Chris Shultz had car trouble, forcing them to
cancel tonight's show at JJ's, but Gabriel Newell and Matt Bohannon are
gonna play instead. so it'll be a "songwriters in the round" thing.

This weekend I'm going up to Jerry Rockwell's festival in Athens, this is
kind of payback for me, jerry gave me a shot when no one had heard of me
all those years ago. From that one festival I got 5 shows, including an
introduction to Nancy Barker at Kentucky Music Week. I pretty much have a
career from Jerry taking a chance on me.

Sunday I'll be teaching a "master class" on the Box Technique. I've taught
this at a variety of festivals this year. But this Sunday we'll have the
time to really knuckle down and get a firm understanding of how it works.
The workshops are $35 each. You can find out about the rest of festival and

and November 6th is "noogapalooza" 10 bands, 10 solo acts, 5 hours of
continuous music for $10 and a good cause. This is a must-see if you live in
Chattanooga (or even if you don't)

There's more good stuff on the horizon, but i don't wanna jinx it. I'll be
